by Child UK

CHILD UK wants to inspire young people to become actively involved in physical activity through sport. To achieve this we provide a wide variety of sport programmes which can be delivered in schools, community facilities, leisure centres, playing fields and other open spaces.

Our sport programmes focus on raising aspirations, building self esteem and developing team work skills. Our programmes include:

  • Inspirational themed sports days
  • Motivating curriculum work in primary and secondary schools
  • Breakfast and lunchtime clubs
  • After school
  • Holiday clubs and other programme options

We offer a wide range of sporting activities including: athletics, football, rugby, cricket, rounders, softball, dodgeball, handball, volleyball, hockey, basketball, badminton, trampolining, cheerleading and many others.

We offer taster sessions to sample our high quality work. Contact us today to find out more.

Handball Club

As part of the Olympic Legacy Programme CHILD UK is setting up handball clubs in the East of England region. Handball is a great sport with an illustrious history but is new to many children in the UK. It’s so much fun that we can guarantee once you play you will be hooked!

StreetGames (14 – 25 years)

Word to the big bird! Our Doorstep Sports Clubs turn the street into a sports arena for young people aged 14 to 25. Targeting areas of social deprivation we introduced innovative games such as Street Golf, Pop Up Tennis and football. We ask young people where, when and what they want and deliver it on their doorstep.

Moonlight Football (13-18 years)

A weekly late-night 5-a-side football league for boys and girls aged 13-18 years old. Teams are welcome to come along every week or on an ad-hoc basis. The aim of the league is to provide a fun, adrenalin-pumped regular activity. As well as the health benefits, it provides young people with the opportunity to participate in something they enjoy alongside friends and team mates whilst staying safe.

We’ve got some movable goals and a pitch, all you got to do it turn up and play!
